Target LRC 100 Laser Diffuser - Replacement model for the Target LE 850 -

The new LRC 100 is for opening garage automatic garage doors and some gates. As the Sunday Times article* also pointed out on November the 9th 2003, it also diffuses police laser guns preventing a reading being taken for a few seconds. The LRC - 100 is built in a high quality aluminium case, epoxy sealed from the elements, very strong and easy to mount with even more fitting options. Its supplied with one small transponder for fitting on the front of the car, a status LED warning diode for inside the car, a wiring loom with lots of cable and a speaker to notify you if the device is actively transmitting.

The new unit is so much smaller than all other similar units and it is much easier to hide. Cable ties, screws, electrical joints, a bubble level and informative instructions are also in the pack. You should not need anything else.

LRC 100 laser jammer - kit The LRC 100 still uses the gallium arsenide laser-diode -the same found in police laser guns and is still the only laser diffuser to use it, other diffusers often just use a lower cost diode that can still do the job but take more energy to do so and can suffer power fade over time.

The LRC 100 detects the laser beam from the garage door opener, gate opener or police speedtrap laser gun etc and then fires back a matching white-noise laser signal. This opens the garage door, or as reported in the Sunday times also this delays the laser gun's computer from computing the speed reading of the car for a few seconds. An alarm inside the car warns that the system is transmitting and it shuts down automatically in 5 seconds to stop the unit interfering with any legitimate systems.
