"I have recently taken possession of a
GEODESY?
device from Morpheous Limited?In other words this is a device that will alert you to speed camera locations and boy is it good. This is an excellent device, which reliably identifies the location of the cameras and provides both visual and audible alerts in advance of reaching the camera location. The locations are updated from a central server thus keeping the device up to date and it can also be configured remotely to provide warnings from a predetermined range. I would suggest that this device is worth investigating or notifying the membership about as it serves a number of useful purposes. Most importantly this device is totally legal and will Remain that we as it uses GPS data for identifying locations, not detection. It plays a positive role in alerting the driver to potential accident black spots, which is especially important in unfamiliar areas and allows the driver, to concentrate on the driving rather than spending time trying to locate hidden speed cameras. I do not think that this device will ever encourage speeding, quite the reverse really as it forewarns the driver of the hazards ahead allowing them to take a more informed approach to the road ahead. Thank you for taking the time to work so hard for the benefit of the British Driver and I wish you the greatest success in the future."

Not somewhere in sight, next to me. Its accuracy has to be within 15 feet if not better. Locally, I know most of my home area GATSO sites, but when out of my home area on my Honda, searching for unfamiliar, challenging roads, is when I am most likely to be caught out by a GATSO (sorry, accident black spot) camera. Now I am far less paranoid, and have stopped searching the horizon and hedgerows for poxy grey boxes. Also your backup and attitude whenever I have called to make changes has been brilliant.
