FUNCTIONALDESCRIPTION

Provided the resultant distance is less than auser specified distance (typically 1mile), the warning signal is converted anddisplayed by a series of sounds and lights illuminated on a display designed toattract the users attention regardless of the ambient light conditions.   These sounds and lights are user defined and therefore change characteristics on request

The GEODESY is NOT a radar detector

This premier safety device is 100% legal and 100%unique in its ability to accurately and reliably identify Speed DetectionDevices.

UPDATE SERVICE 

The success of the GEODESY relies oninformation in the database. It is important to update the positions of new Speed Detection Device installationsites.

Each GEODESY is shipped with a DesktopInterface which is connected to the telephone line. Placing the GEODESY into this Desktop Interface instructs the unit to dial up and connectautomatically to the Morpheous ä network. This allows the GEODESY to remotely synchronise data including additional Speed DetectionDevices and the removal of inactive Speed Detection Devices, as well asinforming the Morpheous ä   database of new Speed Detection Devices stored by theuser. Update times are around a minute. The GEODESY will not interfere with any existing telephones, PC’s or faxes and will nottry to connect if the phone line is being utilized.

The current operational area of the GEODESY is restricted to England. Expansioninto Wales and Scotland is being undertaken, as well as plans to cover Europe inthe foreseeable future.

FEATURES

• If the GEODESY is lost or stolen, simply notify the Morpheous ä Technical Support Team who are able to deactivate that GEODESY

• In addition to the illumination display, a buzzer sounds a digital warning signal. The GEODESY can use any one of a number of tunes for warnings to allow for different conditions and preferences

• The GEODESY dimensions are about the size of a pack of playing cards

• Weather, Water, Shock and Vibration resistant.   The GEODESY is completely sealed and designed to cope with reasonable shock and the excessive vibration of V-twin engines

• The display brightness will automatically reduce at night

• The Sound Volume can be set to automatically decrease with reduction in speed

• Product quality is key to Morpheous ä and every component is rigorously tested before it is dispatched

PROGRAMMABLE CHARACTERISTICS

• Selectable day, night and individual colour brightness

• Selectable sound volume and tunes

• The user can select the range at which the GEODESY responds to a Speed Detection Device. Alternatively a user can select auto ranging. i.e. If you are travelling on a motorway, you may be doing 70 MPH, this would mean that anything less than about a mile range would be too little, however, a mile warning at 20 MPH could be too far.

• Display colour

The options are almost endless. To change any setting, the user simply calls andinforms the Morpheous ä Technical Support Team of any desired change. This serviceis charged at a premium rate telephone call.

WHAT YOU GET

• Each GEODESY is shipped with one Desktop Interface and two Power Clips. The difference between the two power clips is that one has a cigarette lighter connector for a motor vehicle, and the other has Snap connectors for simple direct wiring to a motor vehicle or motorcycle. A comprehensive User Manual and Quick Reference Programming Guide is also supplied with the GEODESY
